This travelling treasure chest of vintage goodies lands in Edinburgh on Saturday 5th March, 2011 – and here in the office we’re already saving our pennies in anticipation. There will be rails upon rails of lovely second-hand clothing, accessories and trinkets, brought to you from some of the best vintage vendors in the country, and even better, the prices are checked by the organisers to make sure you’re getting the best possible deal on your vintage finds.
The fair was set up in 2005 by former Selfridges stylist Judy Berger – a lady who most definitely knows her vintage. The goods on offer date from the 1920s to 1980s, and include Mad Men style 50s dresses, vintage Barbour jackets and elegant 40s evening gowns, as well as a huge range of bags, purses and jewellery.
Whether you’re obsessed with all things vintage, or you’d just like to add a bit of old fashioned glamour to your wardrobe, get yourself down to Out of the Blue from 11am. We’ll see you by the handbags.
