Basic Lip Balm

1/2 ounce beeswax beads
4 ounces sweet almond oil
1 teaspoon coloured jojoba beads
2 teaspoons essential oil

How to make:
Put the 4 ounces of sweet almond oil in glass measuring cup. Add beeswax beads and jojoba beads and melt in microwave and stir with spoon.
Let it cool for a few minutes, then add essential oil. Pour into lip balm jars.

To use:
Use as traditional lip balm

Cranberry Lip Balm

cranberries 249x166 All Natural Lip BalmsHomemade Recipe for lip balm made with fresh cranberries that will leave your lips soft and gives them a hint of color.

Ingredients:
10 fresh cranberries
1 tbsp sweet almond oil
1 tsp honey
1 drop of Vitamin E oil

How to make:
> Mix all the ingredients together in a microwave-safe bowl.
> Microwave for a couple of minutes or until the mixture just begins to boil. (Bowl may also be heated in a pan of water on a stovetop).
> Stir well and gently crush the berries. Cool mixture for five minutes and then strain through a fine sieve to remove all the fruit pieces. Stir again and set aside to cool completely.
> When cool, transfer into a small portable plastic container or tin

To use:
Use as traditional lip balm

Aloe Vera Lip Gloss

1 tsp. Aloe Vera gel
1/2 tsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. petroleum jelly

How to make:
> Combine the ingredients in a small glass bowl until well mixed.
> Heat for about 2 minutes in the microwave.
> Stir and pour into a small container.
> Let cool completely before use.

To use:
Use as traditional lip balm

Apricot Lip Balm

apricots 250x187 All Natural Lip BalmsIngredients:
1 t Beeswax (5 ml)
1 t Apricot kernel oil (5 ml)
1 t Calendula oil (5 ml)
Few drops essential oil of Lemon or orange

How to make:
> Melt the beeswax in a double boiler. Add the apricot and calendula oils, stirring constantly.
> Remove the wax from the heat and continue stirring until it is partly cooled.  Add the essential oils.
> Store in a small glass jar.

To use:
Use as traditional lip balm

Vanilla Lip Gloss

vanilla 249x166 All Natural Lip BalmsIngredients:
1 tsp petroleum jelly
1 tsp aloe vera gel
1 and 1\2 teaspoons coconut oil
1\2 teaspoon vanilla

How to make:
Heat ingredients together in a double-boiler and pour into jars.

Honey Citrus Lip Gloss

honey 2 187x250 All Natural Lip BalmsIngredients:
7-8 tsp. sweet almond oil
2 tsp. beeswax
1 Vitamin E capsule
1 tsp. honey
5 drops citrus flavoring or essential oil (or you may like lime)

How to make:
> Melt the sweet almond oil and beeswax together in the microwave safe container for 1-2 minutes.
> Remove the mixture from the microwave, and pierce the vitamin E capsule with a pin or tip fo a knife, and squirt into mixture.
> Whisk the contents of the vitamin E capsule, honey, and flavoring, into the oil mixture, continuing to whisk until set.
> Spoon your new lip gloss into a small, balm container with tight lid.
