The Night of Your Life: Spectacular Dining at The Scotch Whisky Experience for The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo
Summer has arrived and Edinburgh is bursting into life, playing host to a superb range of festivals and events. One of the city’s biggest draws is the world-renowned Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, which will take place 7-29 August.
Once again, The Scotch Whisky Experience is offering its ever popular Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo packages. The five-star whisky venue is offering a superb mix of meals created using the best ingredients Scotland’s larder has to offer and drams of the country’s national drink, along with the chance to by-pass the queues before enjoying what has been described as “the greatest show on earth.”
Sold out in 2014, Fridays and Saturdays are already down to the last few places for this year’s ‘Bruce,’ ‘Wallace’ and ‘Amber’ packages.

In addition to the Tattoo packages, the attraction’s two bars are the perfect place to pop in and unwind after a busy day pounding Edinburgh’s streets. Stocking the biggest selection of whiskies the city has to offer, there are more than 420 Single Malt, Single Grain and Blended whiskies behind the bar, alongside a range of whisky liqueurs.
And for those in need of something to take home, the attraction’s specialist shop sells full bottles, miniatures and whisky-related gifts, with its expert staff on-hand to provide guidance in choosing the perfect bottle. The shop will also be hosting free distiller sampling sessions throughout the summer.
