Edinburgh School of Food & Wine is Scotland’s oldest independent cookery school, established in 1986.  Over this time, the school has gained a reputation for culinary excellence that is second to none.  Situated in The Coach House of the Newliston Estate, the school provides a perfect setting for a wide range of courses.

Edinburgh School of Food & Wine hosts Saturday Classes throughout the year, teaching everything from regional cookery, skills-based classes and the Glenfiddich Cookery course for men (there is also a Champagne Day for those that are partial to a bit of fizz).  In addition, there is a number of masterclasses on Thursday evenings throughout the year, as well as specialised workshops which focus on topics as diverse as fish preparation, bread making and pastry.

Recently voted one of the top 12 cookery schools in the UK, Edinburgh School of Food & Wine has gained a reputation for culinary excellence and strives to provide a teaching experience that is second-to-none, whether you visit for one day or six months.
